The week of October 19 2009 marked an important period for Sebastian and us. He has been cruising, or table-walking, for sometime now. Then every evening after his meal and before the bath time, he would suddenly but surreptitiously "rise up" in his play area--usually just for two seconds or so. Last week, he went from freestanding to taking two steps forward all by himself. And he just grew more and more bold from there in a matter of days. Now we've got a toddler wandering around our apartment, enjoying full freedom and excitement from this new form of mobility.
